No.2567 Announcement of the Ministry of Agriculture of

   People's Republic of China

   For the purposes of strengthening the supervision and management of pesticides with

    restricted uses, ensuring the quality and safety of agricultural products and the safety

    of humans and animals, and protecting agricultural production and the ecological

    environment, the Catalogue of Restricted Pesticides has been drafted by the Ministry

    of Agriculture in accordance with the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China

    (Version 2017), and is now promulgated, together with announcement on relevant

    issues as follows:

    1. Labels of pesticides listed into the Catalogue shall be marked with the words

    "Restricted Use" and indicate their particular restrictions and special requirements.

    Labels of pesticides used in food products shall also indicate the safety interval.

    2. The first 22 pesticides in the Catalogue are subject to operation at designated sites,

    and the rest pesticides are subject to such operation at the time separately regulated

    by the Ministry of Agriculture.

    3. The Notice on Restricted Pesticides issued by the Ministry of Agriculture shall remain

    in force.

    This Announcement shall go into force as of October 1, 2017.
